I was very excited to have found this great land between the Arroyo San Antonio and the Acequia Madre. My vision for this area was to build based on my design philosphy of "right sized" homes. I'm not a fan of the status quo "santa fe style", and envisioned a compound of 5 homes, that would take advantage of the southern orientation of the site. They would utilize a more modern, contemporary design language (my personal favorite).
The first 2 homes are Energy Star certified, and built to Build Green New Mexico “Silver” standards. The new homes are proposed to have a HERS score of 55 and Build Green New Mexico Gold certification, which means that the homes would qualify for both the state and federal energy tax credits, which are significant.
